It’s July and in the middle of summer! I know many of you are traveling for vacation, mission trips or visiting family and friends. The question has been asked several times, “How can I continue to create a healthy lifestyle while traveling?”

First of all, I hope you have a wonderful trip! And enjoy some of the unique foods that will be available. I recommend that you have the goal of maintenance during this time. And commit to getting back on track when you get back.

Here’s 5 tips how to retain your progress while you’re gone:

  2. Eat in portions
  3. Drinking water before meals will help you not over eat
  4. Surround each meal with protein
  5. Snack often with healthy options
